I was disappointed with Serco's recent half-year results. Despite their claims of a strong performance, it feels more like a case of inflated expectations. The numerous contract awards seem to mask underlying concerns about their operational efficiencies and sustainability. Additionally, the focus on government contracts raises questions about their reliance on public funding. Overall, it seems they are promoting a positive facade rather than addressing the real issues within the company. I expected more transparency and innovation from such a large player.
